On January 31, we closed the "Tourism Capsule with Neuquén Municipalities" project, a space promoted by RIL in collaboration with the Neuquen's Legislature, in which 8 technical teams from local governments worked to strengthen the tourism strategies of their cities.
For more than 5 months, they went through and experimented the innovative public policy design methodology, in which they detected a challenge or problem to be addressed, validated it in the territory and, based on it, designed a specific solution for each challenge. In this last meeting, 5 of them presented the final projects achieved:
- Zapala presented a proposal for the development of viewpoints at strategic points in the city linked to the Circuit of Faith, thus enhancing the local tourist offer
- San Martín de los Andes presented its proposal to promote bicycle tourism as a growing sports-recreational activity, which will allow the city to position itself as a benchmark in it
- Aluminé, for its part, faced with the need to strengthen links between the different actors involved in tourism, focused on the creation of a public-private entity for the development of the destination, where different actors can think. On the other hand, the promotion and dissemination of different destinations has had its space in the Tourism Capsule,
- Loncopué have designed local and regional positioning strategies for the destination, focused on the identity of each point
- Centenario, worked on the promotion of the destination and its tourist and cultural attractions with the particularity of also focusing on the possibilities for residents to enjoy their city and be its standard bearer with tourists.
The diversity of solutions, the regional focus of some of them and the richness that has emerged from these months of collaborative work between Tourism teams and specialists are highlighted. We congratulate the teams for committing and participating! And we will continue working for the implementation of the projects
