Within the framework of the 1st edition of the Congress of Mayors of Uruguay, on July 19 and 20, the 1st Cycle of Departmental Dialogues for Sustainable Development was held at the Fortín de Santa Rosa, in the town of Canelones, Uruguay, with a focus on Comprehensive Waste Management.

The departmental governments of Canelones, Lavalleja, Maldonado, Montevideo and Rocha participated in it.

Florencia Galimberti, Coordinator of Efficient Cities and Sofía Noguer from the Collaborative Cities team, were present with the aim of presenting the tools for the Waste Management dashboard and guiding the participants on how to use the GIRSU self-diagnosis index and our dashboard for take action.
